Number formats

Within the questionnaire and setup information nodes there are three different kinds of question formats for numbers.

  1. Number (1,000.50)
  2. Number (1.000,50)
  3. Numeric

Number (1,000.50)

The Number (1,000.50) format requires the signee to write a number. The number will be formatted with a comma for a thousands separator and a period for a decimal separator. The minimum and maximum value can be configured and whether decimals are allowed.

Number (1.000,50)

The Number (1.000,50) format works the same as the Number (1,000.50) format except the number will be formatted with a period for a thousands separator and a comma for a decimal separator. The minimum and maximum value can be configured and whether decimals are allowed.

Numeric

The Numeric format requires the signee to write a number. The number will not have any thousands or decimal separators. The minimum and maximum amount of numbers can be set for this question type. Note: these are the minimum and maximum amount of characters, not the minimum and maximum value of the number.

Advanced field settings

  1. Data key: A Data key is automatically generated when you enter the question. The data key is used for delivering information between Taktikal and external systems, such as via integration, webhooks and API. These Data Keys need to be unique but can be changed here. We advise using caution when changing Data Keys if the connection to the external system has already been made, since changes to the Data Key will cause errors in delivery unless the same change is made to the Data Key in the other system.
