Within the questionnaire and setup information nodes there are four different kinds of element types for contact info. Some of these element types are only displayed within certain regions. If you require one of the element types in this list but it is not available in your portal, please contact help@taktikal.com.
Phone number
The Phone Number question format requires the signee to enter a phone number with a country code. The input from the signee is validated to ensure that it is in the correct format.
The email question format requires the signee to enter an email address. The input from the signee is validated to ensure that it is in the correct format.
Person
The person item requires the signee to enter the information necessary to create a signing request.
Person lookup 🇮🇸
The person item requires the signee to enter the information necessary to create a signing request using Auðkenni eID.
National ID number 🇮🇸
The National ID number question format requires the signee to enter a 10 digit number. The input from the signee is validated to ensure that it is in the correct format.
Icelandic Bank Number 🇮🇸
The Icelandic Bank Number question format requires the signee to enter three sets of numbers, first 4 digits, next 2 digits and lastly 6 digits to conform with the format of Icelandic Bank Account Numbers. The input from the signee is validated to ensure that it is in the correct format.
Configuration
Fill in the fields to configure the Contact info Element:
- Title: Enter the title here (required)
- Description: If the question requires further explanations write them here (optional)
- Tooltip: If the question requires even further explanations you can write them here, and they'll appear in an info bubble (optional)
- Type: The question format type of the question. If you change your mind about using the Short Text question format, you can choose another question format here.
- This field is required: By default all questions are required to be answered by the signee. If a question should be optional, uncheck this checkbox.
- Placeholder: Here you can write text that appears in the input field for the signee (optional)
- Default country code (for phone number only): Let's you choose which country code is displayed by default. Signees can always override this. You can also leave this empty, then no country code is displayed by default
- Exclude birth date (for person and person lookup only): This is chosen by default. If unchecked, the signee will be asked for the persons birth date. Note - if automatic PEP lookup is connected, than this field can reduce the chances of false positive results.
- Exclude nationality (for person and person lookup only): This is chosen by default. If unchecked, the signee will be asked for the persons nationality. Note - if automatic PEP lookup is connected, than this field can reduce the chances of false positive results.
- Will also sign document (for person and person lookup only): If checked, then this person will receive a signing request via email once the signee of the SmartFlow has finished filling it out and signing it.
- Require Auðkenni eID (for person lookup only): If this is checked, then we will validate if the person has a valid eID from Auðkenni
- Exclude address (for person lookup only):If this is unchecked, then we will not display the address of the person (which we receive from the lookup)
- Exclude email (for person lookup only): If this is unchecked, then the signee will not be asked for this persons email address.
- Exclude phone (for person lookup only): If this is unchecked, then the signee will not be asked for this persons phone number.
Advanced field settings
- Data key: A Data key is automatically generated when you enter the question. The data key is used for delivering information between Taktikal and external systems, such as via integration, webhooks and API. These Data Keys need to be unique but can be changed here. We advise using caution when changing Data Keys if the connection to the external system has already been made, since changes to the Data Key will cause errors in delivery unless the same change is made to the Data Key in the other system.
