Signature settings

To configure Signature Settings click your profile in the top right corner and click settings.

 

Click the Signatures tab in Settings to configure the signature types available to the company. The signature tab is only visible to Company Admins.

  1. Enabling Standard Signatures
  2. Enabling Click to Sign Signatures
  3. Enabling Advanced Signatures
  4. Enabling Qualified Signatures
  5. Enabling Automatic Reminders

Taktikal provides four different signature options, Qualified Signatures (QES) (Currently only available for Icelandic eIDs), Advanced Signatures (AdES), Standard Signatures (SES) and Click to Sign Signatures (SES).

By default all companies on the .is portal are able to use Qualified Signatures while companies on the .com portal are by default able to use Standard Signatures

Each signature has it's own icon which will appear in various parts of the Taktikal portal, such as:

  • when creating a new contact
  • when choosing a contact from Your Contacts
  • in the activity log

The signature settings is also where you can turn automatic reminders for Drop & Sign on and off for the entire company.

 

Enabling Standard Signatures

To enable users in the company to use standard signatures, they must be enabled for the entire company by clicking the "Enable Standard Signatures" toggle button. 

 

Enabling Click to Sign Signatures

To enable users in the company to use Click to Sign signatures, they must be enabled for the entire company by clicking the "Enable Click to Sign signatures" toggle button. 

 

Enabling Advanced Signatures

To enable users in the company to use Advanced Signatures, please contact help@taktikal.com and we'll be happy to configure that for you. 

 

Enabling Qualified Signatures

To enable users in the company to use Qualified Signatures (available only in Iceland), please contact help@taktikal.com and we'll be happy to configure that for you. 

 

Enabling Automatic reminders

To enable automatic reminders click the "Enable automatic reminders for all Drop & Sign signing processes" toggle button.

When this is enabled all Drop & Sign signing requests will by default send out automatic reminders via email to signees that have not finished signing the document. The first reminder will be sent one day after they received the email to sign the document, and subsequently, reminders will be sent once every three days thereafter, until they sign they document or the signing process expires (30 days after it was created).

If the signee is part of a "sign in order" process, they will not receive these reminders, until it is their turn to sign.

 

While this toggle turns this feature on by default for all Drop & Sign processes, the sender of a Drop & Sign process can always override this settings on a "per process" base. To disable automatic reminders for a particular signing process the sender must uncheck the "automatic reminders" checkbox in options, before sending the process to signees.

Each signee can also turn off reminders for a particular signing process by clicking the "Disable notifications for this document" link at the bottom of the reminder email.

The email template for automatic reminders can be altered by sending an email to help@taktikal.com.
