Advanced signatures - authentication denied, what to do?

1) Authentication failed

Make sure you have your actual ID in hand, i.e. passport, driving licence etc. It is not enough to have a photocopy of your ID or a photo of it on a screen - you must have the physical ID to be able to scan it with your phone or computer camera.

 

2) Access to camera denied

If you get this error message you need to allow Veriff* access to your camera on your phone or computer, please follow these guides: https://help.veriff.com/en/articles/3250234-how-do-you-allow-our-service-to-use-your-camera

If you do not grant Veriff permission, we cannot proceed with the session.

 

*Veriff is a trusted vendor who provides authentication with international ID's.

 

3) Black screen
